Info-Tech, a cloud HR software provider, and INTI International University have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance HR students’ development through various initiatives enabled by Info-Tech’s tools.

The signing of the MoU between Info-Tech and INTI marks a mutually beneficial partnership. Both parties aim to provide educational opportunities and industry experiences to the next generation while also nurturing a competent workforce for the industry.

Mr. Peter Lee, Chairman of Info-Tech, and Mr. Chong Kok Wai, Chief Executive Officer of INTI, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations.

With over 28 years of experience in the HR industry, Info-Tech remains committed to its vision of contributing to the community’s development, which is crucial in establishing a robust digital society. In line with this vision, Info-Tech aims to bring practical insights to the students in the Human Resource Management program through forums, seminars, workshops, mentorship, and development programs.

These initiatives will empower students to excel and be ahead of the curve, preparing them for the future of HR digitalisation. Mastering cloud HR software during these challenging times will help prepare students to become proficient leaders in the field of HR. Additionally, Info-Tech is offering students on-campus recruitment and industrial training opportunities to sharpen their HR skills and knowledge through exposure to industry best practices and valuable real-world experience.

Mr. Peter Lee enthusiastically said, “I have always wanted to work with INTI in encouraging students to be more digitally savvy. With the input of our specialists into the various workshops and on-campus initiatives, I believe the students are able to achieve a breakthrough in their capabilities and gain an edge over their peers. This will help them to become future-ready in the face of the evolving needs of the society.”

The partnership offers Info-Tech employees and their families up to 40% discount on INTI’s Working Professionals Programme, an initiative encouraging lifelong learning among working adults.

Mr. Chong Kok Wai affirmed that the MoU between INTI and Info-Tech is another testament to INTI’s solid industrial collaboration.

“I am grateful to our industry partners for propelling our students toward excellence with invaluable insights and experiences. The drive to pursue knowledge should extend to working professionals as well. Our professional development program offers these individuals a curriculum designed by esteemed industry leaders, giving them a competitive edge in today’s dynamic workplace.” Mr. Chong shared.

Universities are crucial in producing industry-ready graduates, but practical experience remains invaluable. The MoU exemplifies how academia and industry can collaborate to elevate education standards and graduate outcomes for the nation’s benefit.
